Above Blue Suites

We loved spending two nights here, especially watching the breathtaking sunset from this quieter part of Santorini. The caldera view was beautiful, the room was well maintained, and the location felt perfect. The reception lady and staff were very helpful, and we got to check in early because our room was ready. Breakfast had limited options, though.

We first got married on the terrace here 10 years ago, and came back in September 2024 for our anniversary. The team at Above Blue went out of their way to help us get ready for the special evening, and even let us return for sunset photos after checkout. Breakfast on the balcony, looking over the caldera, was amazing. We loved the first-class rooms and bathrooms, and all the thoughtful Greek touches throughout. This place will always mean a lot to me. Thank you, Above Blue, for making our anniversary so memorable.

We stayed for two nights in the Charm suite, which had a pool and an amazing view. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She checked us in early and upgraded our room for free. Breakfast was included and arrived right when we chose. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, with beautiful sunset views and plenty of restaurants nearby. The location is brilliant, and I'd recommend staying here.

I picked the Siren Suite Room after looking through lots of options, mainly for its cozy balcony, hot tub and lovely sunset view. At check-in, though, I was told I'd been upgraded to the Above Blue Villa. It had three bedrooms and plenty of space for two, which sounded great at first, but the outdoor area was dirty, the stone around the hot tub wasn't clean and the door lock didn't work properly. The view was less appealing than the one I'd booked, and the breakfast wasn't worth the price. I asked to change rooms, but they didn't consider my request. It didn't feel like an upgrade, and it wasn't worth what I paid.
