Moschatos Beach House

We only wish we’d booked more nights. The friendly, delightful hosts shared good tips for spending time in Kamari, including nearby restaurants and a beach shortcut that takes around 150 metres. The villa sits in a wonderful setting, with a sea view from the balcony and a rugged mountain behind it. Its gardens are beautiful, with fruit and vegetables growing there. Our welcoming host even shared some cactus fruit with us. We had a lovely stay and would return in a heartbeat.

It takes a 25-minute bus ride and then a 15-minute walk to get here from central Fira, but we thought the secluded location was well worth it. The apartment was beautiful and well equipped, and the hosts paid close attention to what we needed. We’ll certainly stay here again if we return to Santorini.

The host goes out of their way to help, with great suggestions for nearby restaurants, local bus stops, and private beach access. The spacious house has private gardens, outdoor decks, showers, and more. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Santorini. I’ll definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

Adriana and her husband Jannis were super kind and accommodating, and helped whenever we needed them. They arranged transfers for our guests to the accommodation and also to our wedding reception. We’re very grateful for their hospitality and the wonderful Santorini experience, and hope to come back one day. Moschatos Beach Houses is a collection of beautiful villas by Kamari beach, surrounded by trees, plants, and cactuses, with lovely sea views. The sunrises are amazing, so try getting up early at least once to enjoy one. The apartments felt like home and had everything we needed, including hygiene products, an iron, water, tea, and coffee. Each room has its own stylish decor, handmade furniture, and painted artwork. They also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and bars, including Captain’s Corner, Papas Grill, and The Hook Bar, all of which are worth a visit.
