Nostos Beach

We really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was a little small, but the hotel itself was lovely and the staff were lovely too.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but the service was appalling. From what I’ve read, we weren’t the only ones who had this experience. My fiancé, some friends who were staying nearby, and I went to the restaurant while we were all on holiday together. We hadn’t seen each other in nine years. My friends picked the place because the sunbeds looked lovely and thick. We ordered cocktails and planned to get lunch and spend the day at the beach. We had to ask for water several times, and the cocktails were all we received. The staff were on their phones at the bar while a young boy served. We asked three times about our food, with only 10 people in the restaurant. We’d all ordered pasta, which takes 10-30 minutes at most. Each time, we were told they’d check the ETA, but they ignored us while going down to collect beach orders, then returned to their phones at the bar. After an hour and a half, we gave up. We still had to wait a bit for the cocktail bill. The boy apologized, and it wasn’t his fault, but the rest of the team really let him down. Such a disappointment, since we’d gladly have spent money there throughout the day.

We paid up front in euros for two day beds, and asked for towels too, which cost extra. It took 45 minutes for the towels and a menu to arrive. After I paid cash up front, they didn’t bring back the right change. Nobody came to take our drink order, and no one else was served a drink for over 30 minutes. There was only one day bed waiter, and we felt fleeced at every opportunity. Trash place. Don’t come here. Negative rating.

The location is perfect, and the staff were very helpful. Both the rooms and the property were clean, though the rooms are very basic. It’s a two-star hotel, so you get what you pay for. A good choice if you’re after a budget-friendly stay. The photos posted by other guests show the rooms and property just as they are.
