Enalion White Suites Oia

The best part was the terrace, with a 360º panorama over the caldera and Oía town on both sides. You can watch the sunset from there instead of competing for a spot at Oía castle. Each room has its own hot tub on the terrace, and after a full day walking around, soaking while looking out at the view was so comfortable. Aqua has the larger tub. This feels more like an Airbnb-style guest house than a hotel, with just two rooms, Aurora and Aqua. I stayed in the spacious, tidy Aurora for 2 nights. It had a huge balcony and everything I needed, including towels, shampoo, coffee, fresh water, utensils, and TV. Vasiliki was attentive and responsible. She got in touch a few days before check-in and kept checking whether I needed help before and during the visit, which made my time in Oía comfortable and memorable. The central cliffside location made it easy to walk to the bus station and main sights, including Oía castle and the wind mills. There were some privacy issues, though. The balcony faces the terrace of a restaurant directly above, so diners can see you. I didn’t use it at all, and would suggest keeping the curtains drawn while inside. People walking by or eating at the restaurant can also see parts of the terrace, especially near the hot tub or edge, though it’s less exposed than the balcony. There’s no breakfast, so you’ll need to go out if you want some. Considering the price, location, and what’s provided, I think it’s good value and would recommend it. If privacy matters a lot to you, think carefully before booking.

Sophia and Spyros took such good care of us that the stay is hard to put into words. Sophia arranged everything, from transfers in Mercedes vans for a maximum of 35 Euro, which is very cheap for Santorini, to massages and helpful suggestions. It felt like having a personal assistant. Spyros handled our things, cleaned the spa every day, and even stopped what he was doing to call a doctor to our room when my Wife became ill. We spent a day in hospital, and I honestly don’t know how we’d have managed without them. The suite was spotless and comfortable, and the upstairs spa had a 360 degree view of the town, sea, and cliffs. We didn’t need to go out for dinner because the view was the best in Santorini. Thank you both. We’ll be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. You made us feel like celebrities!

I stayed in the Aurora room from 18-20 April 22, and it was great value for money. The rooftop hot tub and 360' panorama were spectacular. This is a private-style accommodation rather than a regular hotel, with just two rooms in the white suite, Aqua and Aurora. The shared rooftop is for those two rooms only, and it’s huge, with tables, chairs, and beds. Aurora has one big hot tub for 3 people up there; Aqua has two small tubs, one on the first floor and one on the roof. The hot tub worked as expected. There’s a private ladder inside the building to reach the roof. The rooftop felt more private than most places in Oia, since the building seems to be among the highest. Around 80% of hotels are lower down, where people walking in the street can see what you’re doing. The room had a very big, slightly high bed, with a ladder and edge provided. The decor was great, and there was a sofa, TV, Free Wifi, a little kitchen with cutlery, glasses and plates, plus a fridge. All the lights worked. Elias was very friendly and supportive, gave good advice and tips, fulfilled our requests, and helped carry our luggage. A small breakfast was provided even though this place isn’t a hotel like Enalion suite. It’s right in the center of Oia on the main street, so there’s no need to climb down a hill to get there, and a Minimart is next door. The restaurant and bar beside us made the first-floor balcony less private, but I didn’t use it because the second floor had a better view. I didn’t notice noise from them in the room. I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aurora and would love to stay again. Hope this helps with your decision :)

The place was advertised as an apartment with 2 rooms, but it was really one living room with two beds squeezed into a small space, and a poorly equipped kitchen in that same room. I came with my partner and our mom, and we needed some privacy, but there was none. We paid the full amount, then spent 2 hours arguing with the concierge because the owner didn’t have the courage to face us or refund us for the misleading offer. We had to rent another apartment, making the whole trip much more expensive. The patios weren’t private either, with people passing in front all day. I don’t recommend it.
