Ether Sunset Oia

I had a peaceful, lovely week here. The location is beautiful, with sea views, a good-sized pool, and amazing sunsets. The rooms are average, but they’re spacious and housekeeping or room service came every day. It’s definitely worth considering if you’re on a budget.

The grounds are lovely, there’s a pool, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s affordable for the location, but it doesn’t include all the basics I’d expect even at a motel. One bed broke, the shower had no curtain, and there was no AC. Still, if you’re on a budget, I don’t see a reason to avoid the place.

The terrace alone made this place special. It was nearly as large as the apartment, with clear sea views and a sunset to enjoy each evening. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, and the bathroom was wonderful. There’s a pool on site, plus food and drinks available to order. The host was calm, friendly, and happy to chat as long as we liked about all sorts of things. Our last stop of the trip turned out to be such a stunning finale. It’s a little outside town, but both the town and main harbour are an easy 10-minute walk away, either through town or along a safe road. The value was the best part. I’d have been happy even if I’d paid more. I didn’t want to leave and would love to come back. Thank you!

The place is beautiful, and the small team were helpful and did their best to accommodate us. For what the hotel costs, though, the service felt average. The restaurant and room service were closed, and breakfast was prepared by the receptionist. It wasn’t very good quality.
