Solstice Luxury Suites

The terrace views were heaven on earth, as my wife kept reminding me, and the whole place felt relaxing and private. We stayed a few nights in the Grande Suite, with a phenomenal cave and outdoor terrace. Nicolas and Hercules welcomed us warmly from our first contact, and the service was fantastic. Hercules, the hotel assistant, handled every request with a smile and made nothing feel like a problem. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the extra-comfortable bed made it easy to sleep in. We feel lucky to have stayed here, especially knowing they book out for the season. A definite must stay!

Nick was a great host. He arranged airport transfers, reserved us a rental car for a day of exploring, and booked a catamaran cruise and a sunset dinner. The breakfasts were delicious, too. Our Grande suite felt like the best of the three. It was gorgeous, with a huge, spacious cave-style interior, an amazing view, and a terrace with a covered area for dining and several lounge chairs. The hot tub view was amazing. The location was ideal, tucked away from foot traffic but only about 100 feet from the heart of Oia. A five-star service and stay. Highly recommend!

Marcus and Jamal were great with our requests. They got us a sunset dinner reservation at a restaurant in Oia that’s hard to book on short notice, carried our bags to and from our transportation, and suggested a caldera cruise. The included breakfast was very good, but the omelet is huge and tasty, so don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach when you order the night before. My wife planned and booked this hotel as a surprise for our Santorini trip. The junior suite was tucked away from the busy main Street, though close enough to get where we needed to go. It felt private, and there wasn’t some random Instagram model posing next to our private hot tub with its amazing view. The staff went above and beyond.

The privacy was the main reason we booked Solstice Suites, and it really delivered. We were at the very end of the hotel’s section of Oia, with no one walking by, using the stairs, or looking down at us. The private plunge pool was incredible, and I’m still enjoying the memories almost a year later. John, the manager or owner, I think, picked us up from the ferry and suggested things to do off the beaten path around Santorini. We loved cliff diving at the bay. Hercules looked after us during the stay and was amazing, friendly, and never overwhelming. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. I’ve never had service this good. Laura and Andrew
