What made Dias by Azul special for me was the staff. Mr. George at reception was professional and supportive, and the bartender in the hat and young man Niko were friendly, fun, and full of positive energy. The hotel is small, clean, renovated, and well maintained. It's cozy and welcoming, though not luxurious. There are also several beach bars in different locations, which adds variety and makes it a great option for beach lovers. There are some things that could be better. Breakfast was limited and repetitive, and drinks at the hotel bar were quite weak compared with the excellent service at the beach bar. The public toilet and shower under reception need attention, especially the shower, which floods the floor because of poor drainage. Evenings felt a bit dull without entertainment, so we often went out for activities. If you're after a relaxed place with a good atmosphere and great service, I recommend Dias by Azul. I'd love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Dias by Azul Collection in Rethymno. The food was amazing, and the rooms were spacious and very well maintained. Manolis and Giorgos were especially kind, friendly, and heartfelt with us. Greek hospitality is unmatched. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel.

Getting to the hotel was already a mess. Our flight from Paris landed in Heraklion at 2:40 pm, and with six flights arriving at once, we waited an hour for our bags. At transfer office 1B, we were told the car had left and the next one would be in 1 hour 30 minutes. I asked if it was normal for people to be missing from the car without anyone calling us. The woman said it wasn't their contact with T4All. The room was just as bad. There was nowhere to put our clothes, and to use the toilet you literally had to step into the shower because the bathroom door couldn't open properly with the WC right behind it. The bathroom and storage weren't suitable for two people sharing the room. I'll confirm this with pictures. At breakfast, even though we had all-inclusive access, we were charged 5.50 for fresh orange juice. The woman insisted we had to wait until the bar opened at 10 am. The pool's separation between the children's and adults' areas was a metal barrier of the kind usually used at events. The staff were cool, but the hotel wasn't nice, the food wasn't good, and the bathroom was horrible. The worst experience of my life. If you're going to Rethymnon, choose somewhere else. I booked through LastMinute and won't do that again.

The activities were wonderful, from aqua zumba to all the fun things going on, and everyone was kind throughout. The team at the hotel deserves congratulations. Natalia, you're amazing at what you do! It was my first time in Crete and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Ms. Dagmara, for making the meals feel so pleasant, and Zoe and the gentlemen at the bar gave top-notch service. I hope to come back.
