Kresten Palace Hotel

We found it comfortable and clean, with a great breakfast, and very good value for the price. Our room looked out over the sea and pool, which we loved. The pool was lovely, and the snack bar had good options like burgers and pasta bolognese. The staff were nice and gave great customer service. Parking is somewhat limited, but we had no trouble. The drive to old town takes about 15 minutes. A car is useful, though there's also a bus stop close to the property.

We spent two weeks here and would like to thank the whole staff for making the holiday so special. The room was good, and it was easy to get to both the Old Town and Faliraki. Food and drinks were very good as well. In the evenings the bar had a different program each night, while daytime activities were mostly outdoors. We hope to come back ❤️

The room was lovely, the food was all great, and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. We really enjoyed staying here. The pool area is brilliant, though be prepared for cold water, at least in April when we visited. I gave the location four stars because the beaches within easy walking distance are rocky, and rough water makes them tricky. It's easy to rent a car or take a taxi, and buses run too. Rhodes and Faliraki are close by. Our favourite day out was Lindos, which we reached by rental car.

The pools looked neglected and unhygienic, and the breakfast was poor, with little variety and low-quality food. Cleanliness was a serious problem across the hotel, with many areas simply dirty and seemingly not properly cleaned. The rooms felt more like a museum than somewhere to stay, extremely old, badly maintained, and strongly smelling of damp and mold. This was my first trip to Greece, and the hotel turned it into a huge disappointment. I absolutely would not recommend staying here.
