A mistake by our travel agent meant we couldn’t stay at Philippion Hotel this time, but we were impressed by both the property and its team. The reception staff were extremely polite and helpful, and handled the situation calmly and professionally. They left us with a very positive impression of the hotel’s service. Lovely pool, good music, and a great choice of snacks and drinks. The location is just off the hustle and bustle, and the staff are what make the place amazing.

The owner went out and bought a cot for my son because they didn’t have one. Mia at reception was lovely and so helpful with getting around and booking activities. All the staff made us feel at home and made our son feel so welcome. Fantastic service.

We are three young Israeli travelers who booked a stay at Philippion Boutique Hotel months ago. Because of the current war in Israel and the widespread flight cancellations, we can’t travel. We explained the situation to the hotel in detail and asked for either a refund or a change to our dates. They refused both and showed no flexibility, understanding, or compassion, even though this is clearly a force majeure situation. Their reply felt cold and indifferent, which isn’t what I’d expect from a hotel that says it offers personal service. Given how they treated us during a crisis, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would choose somewhere else.

The view from the front of the hotel is amazing, and you can walk to everything in Fira. The staff were all friendly and very professional. I stayed for two nights and thought it was great. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.
