The rooms are tidy and the place itself is nice, but the owner’s rules made us feel really uncomfortable. We hadn’t come across rules like those at any other accommodation we’ve stayed in. I was charged for a balcony door that was supposedly broken, and other guests have also complained about faulty balcony doors, with the owner blaming them for the damage. I think the doors just have cheap mechanisms and should be fitted with proper materials instead of blaming customers. I’m sorry to say the owner’s attitude and rudeness outweigh the accommodation’s good points.

++++ Don’t stay here, it’s a total scam ++++ I can’t fit everything into a review, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had as a frequent traveler. It took far too long for them to answer my messages about the location, which isn’t provided in the ad, so I could put it in my GPS. When I arrived, the very rude owner’s first comment was that I hadn’t told him when I was coming, even though I’d sent at least four messages saying so. After showing me the room, I asked for the air conditioning remote. He again spoke to me rudely and said I’d have to pay extra, without telling me how much. Then he said I’d booked with Eris, not Erietta hotel. That made no sense, since I never booked Erietta. So yes, you book one hotel and end up in another. The WiFi didn’t work in my room. The airport beside the hotel was very noisy, and toilets flushing in other rooms were loud enough to wake us. The shower head was fixed at waist level, the pool was never open, and neither was the cafe. The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was old and there was a lot of sand on the floor when I arrived, even though it was supposed to be clean. +++ Don’t stay here +++

The only good thing about this place is its location, near both the airport and the sea. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The owner was unpleasant and didn’t want to communicate with guests, and his many rules made us uncomfortable. For example, the pool and pool bar closed very early. The rooms had small windows, and turning on the air conditioning cost 10 euros a day. Opening the door for fresh air wasn’t a good option because lots of mosquitoes would come in. Many things in my room were nearly broken, but the owner acted as if there were no problems. I also disliked that cats kept coming into every room, and honestly, I doubt they were entirely clean.

We’ve just come back after two weeks here, and I can’t fault anything. The rooms were spotless, and we had the lovely pool area to ourselves for the whole stay. Makis and his sister are lovely people. Can’t wait to come back in September 😊
