We’d stay here again. It’s a lovely property in a great spot, and the restaurant serves good food with a nice mix of Guatemalan and continental options. Our room was roomy, though we could hear the neighbors’ conversations very clearly. The hot water was unreliable during our stay; I think I heard that the boiler was having trouble. Bathroom amenities are basic, so bring a hair dryer.

The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms neat, and the staff friendly and helpful. The pool looks amazing, but the water is freezing, so hardly anyone gets to enjoy it. You’re also not allowed to have any kind of drink in the pool area. Those are the two reasons I didn’t give it five stars.

There isn’t much to do around here, so keep that in mind. Still, the place itself is gorgeous, with lovely rooms in a classic building, and the price was great.

The food was awful. The pizza tasted like a supermarket frozen one, and my girlfriend’s salad had canned mushrooms with a lot of water pooled at the bottom.
