It’s an economical place, not a luxury stay. The two hammocks out front were great, and it was good enough for sleeping and relaxing for a while.

The bungalow rooms work well for families or friends, with a green area where you can sit and unwind. There are reasonable rules around the property, which help make it restful. It’s close to the lake, easy to reach, and has private parking. My only complaint was the 10 p.m. limit for being around the surrounding area at night.

There’s plenty of parking, and the staff are really friendly. It stays cool under all the trees, and there’s Wi-Fi. The rooms and bathrooms are decent, with both hot and cold water. Don’t expect luxury, but it’s a pleasant place and I slept peacefully.

I slept so well here that it felt like home. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, and there are two kinds: some have equipment for guests who want to bring their own food, while the simpler rooms don’t have a kitchen. It’s also very close to the lake dock and Santander Avenue. For me, it’s the best place to rest in Panajachel.
