I really loved the wood-built style here. The price is a little higher, but the place has its look figured out, and the staff were super helpful and took great care of us.

A little hideaway in the wild, with spotless rooms and attentive staff. We had a lovely couple of days here. For a Tikal trip, I'd skip Flores and stay here instead.

This was easily my best stay in Guatemala, even compared with places that cost much more and were promoted as high end. It's such a lovely place, and the staff gave us wonderful service. I'd absolutely recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

We had to haul our luggage up a steep hill, and the rooms had neither air conditioning nor hot water. I don't get the positive reviews for a place like this, and I wouldn't stay here again.

Santos, the property manager, was great to work with and really cared about making sure guests had a good stay. The food and service were wonderful too. There's delicious breakfast, plus several excellent restaurants within an easy walk. Bring bug spray and soap, and you're in for a treat. The Cocodrilo room is worth getting if it's available, for its amazing lake views and breezes. Lago Peten Itza is right across the road and a great place to swim. It's a relaxing base near Tikal and other beautiful places in Guatemala.
