Lanson Place Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

It's my second year staying at Lanson Place for my annual Hong Kong visit, and it still feels like a home away from home. My family and I felt welcomed and cared for during our extended stay, thanks to the distinctive design, intimate atmosphere and personal touches. The location is especially useful for a longer visit, with buses, trains and the MTR close by for getting around to attractions. The frontline staff set a warm, professional tone every day. They were friendly, understanding and flexible, and their genuine care added comfort throughout our stay. The rooms have lovely soft colors, elegant textures and warm lighting. I appreciated the well-equipped gym, the good breakfast and service at Salon Lanson, and the in-room Nespresso machine, which was my daily lifesaver. Housekeeping kept my unit fresh and clean each day, making it a pleasure to return after a long day out. I'd recommend Lanson Place if you're after a comfortable boutique-style hotel with thoughtful design and personal service.

We found the rooms spacious, thoughtfully arranged and very clean, with excellent housekeeping throughout. Being able to adjust the air conditioning ourselves was a welcome feature. The location worked well too: a short walk from Causeway Bay's main shopping area, while ride-hailing cars such as Uber could reach the hotel without major traffic delays. The interior had lovely colors and textures, with warm, cosy lighting that made the property feel relaxing. Staff and concierge were consistently polite and responsive, greeting us warmly whenever we passed. We were thoroughly impressed during our recent stay at Lanson Place Causeway Bay and would happily return.

I've been coming to this hotel at least twice a year for work, usually staying 5-7 days each time, and have done so for at least two years. The reception team used to greet me and chat, and the service was always warm and personal. On my latest visit a few days ago, the quality seemed to have dropped quite a lot. I didn't see the people who used to work there, and I'm not sure if the staff turnover had something to do with it. The doorman didn't hold the door or help with my luggage. At breakfast, I asked if I could have coffee first, go to the gym, then come back for food, as I'd been allowed to do before. The receptionist refused and insisted I take food then. I ended up eating before my workout. When I asked the service person for four fried eggs, he said I could only have two. I've ordered four before without a problem. After I explained that, he gave me an 'ok fine' look and attitude, then walked off. I can't believe a client would be treated that way. It was quite disappointing. I hope management sees this and things change by my next visit, or I'll seriously consider not returning.

My husband and I came with our one-year-old to celebrate their birthday and our anniversary, and the team made us feel especially cared for. Service was fast, personal and attentive to detail. They went out of their way to make the trip easy and smooth, and the free laundry room was a big help for our family. The location was central, so getting around Hong Kong was quick and convenient. The hotel looks gorgeous, and our room was beautiful and clean. I've stayed at many hotels, from boutique places to high-end branches, and I visit Hong Kong often. This is one of my favorite stays, and I'll keep choosing it. It felt perfect for us, and I've recommended it to friends and family who visit Hong Kong.
