We chose Page 148 for its triple-bed room, which is hard to find around the island, and we were glad we did. The room was clean and spacious, with a great mattress and pillows, floor-to-ceiling window, large bathroom, well stocked amenities, Bluetooth speakers, air purifier, coffee and tea, TV, and more. There’s also a filtered water dispenser on every floor. After more than 30 years of visiting Hong Kong, I’d put Page 148 near the top when weighing room condition, service, and price. We liked the experience enough to come back and try a regular room next time. The location is handy: Jordan MTR is a seven-minute walk away, and there are two 7-11 stores on the ground floor for after-hours needs. Several restaurants are nearby, including Australian Dairy Company, Mak's Noodle, Hang Heung Bakery Café, and Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop. The lobby café is there if you want a quick breakfast. Staff were friendly, spoke good English, and happily suggested a nearby Dim Sum restaurant when I asked. It was especially nice to see a smiling face at reception after my Red Eye flight. One tip: there are two rooms directly in front of the lift on every floor, so ask well ahead for a room away from it.

The bathroom was a standout, roomy and stocked with amenities. I also appreciated the water refill station, and the tiramisu was really good. Staff were responsive and helpful when I had a mix-up that wasn’t their fault, and I’m grateful for that. The sleek, modern room was a decent size for Hong Kong. Getting there was easy on the 41/42 bus from the airport, with a short walk that was manageable with some luggage. There are plenty of bus and MRT connections nearby, as well as lots of food options. I’d stay here again!

The water dispensers on every floor offer both hot and cold water, and when we reported a flooded bathroom, the response was quick. The housekeepers were friendly and seemed happy, which added to our stay. Page148Hotel is surrounded by useful businesses, all kinds of eateries, convenience stores, the MTR, bus stops, shopping centres, and even a cricket field. Seeing it that Sunday morning gave us a special local Hongkong experience. We booked online for three nights, Jan23-Jan26, 2026, across seven rooms. Eric at the front desk fixed a system glitch that nearly cost us the free Grab-Go breakfast included in the promo rate for all seven rooms, which is why this became a five-star review. One issue: a front-desk trainee seemed more focused on telling us about “privacy” than helping us get our luggage, which was stored in one of our seven rooms while the others were being prepared. Another staff member resolved it and apologized on the trainee’s behalf, so it didn’t affect my rating.

The room and bathroom were nicely kept in this well situated new boutique hotel. Most attractions need a bus or subway ride, but it’s relatively short to get to most places, and using mass transit is part of the fun in Hong Kong. The fridge was pretty small and didn’t seem cool enough. Staff said that was normal, so I accepted that, though the fridge next door definitely felt cooler. It wasn’t a big deal, and I’d stay again on my next visit.
