The Salvation Army Booth Lodge

The building was bright and clean, and the overall cleanliness was great. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke English. Inside, the hotel is wheelchair friendly, though there's a short slope at the exit that needs extra care if using a wheelchair, unless you're getting around by cab. Our room looked modern and was well lit, with air conditioning that worked well and could be adjusted. The bathroom was spacious, but there was a step up into the shower. The bed linen and towels were clean, and the room had a non-carpeted floor and slippers. Breakfast was simple but filling. Laundry is available in-house on Tuesdays, or there's a shop about a two-minute walk away. Shampoo and body wash are available for self-service in the lobby.

The room was clean and really spacious, and the service was very friendly. It was great value, with lots of shops and restaurants just a few minutes away and the subway station about a five-minute walk. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay again on another trip to Hong Kong.

The team were friendly, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and they looked after our bags until check-in. Getting around Hong Kong is cost effective from here, with the MTR, buses and airport access all convenient. The organization also does charity work, so by paying for our stay we could indirectly contribute to that cause.

The view of Hongkong from the room was beautiful, and the rooms were fairly spacious and clean. The beds are firm, but there are plenty of pillows. Staff were friendly, and the location was great. The hotel also offers a free shuttle, which was amazing, and breakfast at no extra cost. It was simple but good. I'd recommend staying here.
