Y Hotel Hong Kong

The location was exactly what I wanted after weeks of searching: plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, with easy access to Central. The airport bus stop is around the corner and has a direct route. I was on the 28th floor and had a city view, a great perspective of Hong Kong. My room was clean, modern, well maintained, compact but good by Hong Kong standards, and had a comfortable bed and excellent shower pressure. There’s 24-hour reception, housekeeping any time, and requests like an iron or extra coffee capsules were handled quickly. The first-floor lounge has free tea, coffee, filtered water, and workspace. There’s no restaurant on-site, but lots of options right outside, so I tried a different eatery each day. Special mention to Fanny, who was outstanding before arrival and throughout my stay: warm, responsive, and professional. She arranged late checkout, which made departure effortless. I stayed six nights over New Year at The Y Hotel, and would 100% return.

The location is great, with a tram station right in front, the MTR a two-minute walk away, and a 7-11 nearby. The room felt comfortable and cozy, though it was smaller than I expected. That wasn’t a big deal, and it’s perfect for a couple because the bathroom is see-through. Amenities are provided, but there’s no water, so bring your own. I recommend booking directly on the hotel website. Good price.

A great place to stay at a very reasonable price. The rooms aren’t extravagant, but they were very clean, with a really comfortable bed and good AC. The showers had great water pressure, and the complimentary soap and other basics were nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I’ll 100% stay here again next time I’m in HK. 🙏☺️

It was a very clean, quiet hotel, a much-welcomed respite from the dried seafood smell and grungy streets just outside. Our room’s mattress wasn’t great, but otherwise it was comfortable and quiet enough. The rooms are very small, as expected.
