Clean and cheap, though it was a difficult time. The AC was a bit noisy, the TV was unplugged and in Chinese, and the WC door next door was loud. The hair dryer and very good WiFi were welcome. The cleaning woman also works reception around 11 to 13. Hot and cold mineral water was available. 150 HKD seems about right.

UPDATE 3/24/2019: Good news, they tried to move me to another room again, for the third time in three days. The check-in was the worst I’ve had anywhere. I arrived on check-in day, gave them my name and signed in, then spent the day with my Aunt, who lives in HK, and stayed at her place that night. When I came back at 2pm the next day to get the key for my assigned room, I found out they’d given it away because I hadn’t stayed there the first night. I was left outside with a squeaky intercom that was impossible to understand. Try standing in front of it and see if you can make out what you’re saying. I had a bursting bladder and waited ages before they finally buzzed me in. The front desk then put me in a room at another building, Hotel Skycity, part of a chain whose name starts with 'Hotel'. They said I’d stay there for now while they found me another spot for the next day. Whaaaaat???? It’s obvious they overbook like crazy and leave guests in the lurch. Absolutely horrible practice. Be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes for an elevator to the 12th floor. The room was about 8 by 8 square feet, including the bathroom in the corner. It was clean and had a safe and AC. The bathroom, toilet and shower were all in one little corner spot. There was a small TV, which I didn’t care about. My picture of the room is below, with each tile measuring a foot. The location is very convenient for shopping, the metro and food. That’s the only plus, and why I gave one star, since you can’t really give zero.

The room was just okay, nothing special, and I didn’t really like the place. The worst part was the lift. Waiting five to ten minutes for one was frustrating.

A small room that could work for someone on a tight budget. The environment inside the building wasn’t comfortable.
