The harbour view from the huge window is lovely from bed, and the rooms are clean and roomy, with a bath. The concierge were friendly too. It’s also very close to the more interesting side of Hong Kong Island, so I’d definitely stay here.

Once you’re inside, it feels surprisingly spacious, clean, and well looked after. The place is a bit tucked away, though, and none of the taxi drivers could find it. Still, I’d strongly recommend it.

The room was spacious and nice, but I didn’t feel the reception staff treated us fairly. The fire alarm and disaster alarm clock went off while I was there with two kids, and nobody even said sorry.
