Apartment Leatoni

The hosts were friendly and ready to help, and we felt right at home. The apartment was tidy, clean, and fully equipped, just like the pictures. It was also in a great location, close to everything we needed. I definitely recommend staying here, and I'd love to come back.

We were attacked and robbed by about 15 masked men when we came back to the building an hour after going out into Split. Before that, we felt the apartment was in the worst district of the city. We didn't want to call the police because we wanted to keep our vacation safe. Less than an hour later, the owner arrived with the police and took us to the station, where we were held for over an hour and told to move elsewhere. We did. The owner was meant to refund our money. Once home, we contacted Booking.com, which told us the owner had canceled the reservation because we hadn't arrived. That's complete nonsense. He turned out to be a fraud and returned nothing. I believe the reservation was marked as a no-show to stop us from leaving a Booking.com review.

Lea and Toni are excellent hosts, and the quiet neighborhood has plenty for young children to enjoy. Everything we needed was within a 5-minute walk. This is an excellent place for families with small kids. Highly recommended.

The hosts were very kind, and Leatoni was neat and clean. We had an excellent stay and thought the location was excellent too. Highly recommended!
