Habitation Hatt Hotel

Habitation Hatt Hôtel has felt like a home away from home since my first visit. The staff are friendly, the room was clean, and there’s a nice pool and a good atmosphere. I enjoyed the food too. If you want peace of mind while traveling in Haiti, I’d think of Habitation Hatt Hôtel.

The pool area has a good feel, and I feel safe here. It’s a bit out of the way, but I save a lot of money. The rooms are big, though there’s no air conditioning until after 5 PM, and it shuts off promptly at 7 AM. The restaurant is lacking, while breakfast is free. For me, a hotel comes down to a good bed and shower. The beds are firm, and the shower isn’t great. TV choices are limited, like everywhere else.

One thing to check before booking is whether the air conditioning runs all day, since it only works part-time in some rooms. Apart from that, it’s a great hotel, with excellent staff and clean rooms and grounds. The pool gets cleaned and maintained daily. The beds are a little firm, but fine.

This was my fifth trip to habitation hatt, and I always feel safe there. The place is consistently clean, the staff are accommodating, and I love the food and free breakfast. I also use their large conference room for my team’s meetings, with buffet meals, coffee breaks, and desserts.
