Richard greeted us warmly and showed us to a stunning, spacious room with a high ceiling and double casement windows. It had a 1950s-style kitchen in the corner, fitted with modern appliances: a microwave, electric hob, kettle, coffee machine, and fridge freezer. The cupboards also had pots, pans, cups, bowls, plates, utensils, and cutlery. The people in the building were quiet and respectable, making it a good retreat for couples or families. Shops for everyday needs are within a mile. The room was tidy, the surroundings welcoming, and the hospitality immaculate. Highly recommend, and I hope to visit again soon.

The room was clean and cozy, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the location is great for tourists. It faces the street, so noise can get a bit loud when you open the windows for fresh air, but it was still acceptable.

They arranged an airport taxi for a fair price and were there to meet us. The flat was lovely and modern inside the old building. The only small drawback was street noise through the night, since we had the windows open in the hot weather.

Richard, the host, was friendly and helpful. He walked us through everything we needed to know and was very punctual. The apartment was clean and tidy, and the location in the heart of Budapest was worth the price. The building is very old, about 150 years. My one complaint is that the towels and sheets, although clean, were old and needed replacing. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay. Here are two pictures from the balcony, hope they help :)

The location beside the Chain Bridge and castle lift was a real plus, and the apartment was well equipped and reasonably priced. My only hesitation is the steep stairs up to the sleeping area. That might be fine for most people, but I'd come back if I found a one-level apartment.
