Villa Belharra

They said there was an error with my reservation and asked me to cancel, then rebook at a higher price. This feels like a scam.

My wife booked a room, then a few days later they said there’d been an error and asked her to cancel. Just hours after that, the room showed up again at three times the original price. A really bad booking experience.

The hosts made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and they were so welcoming throughout. We spent six nights here with our family and couldn’t have asked for more. The villa had plenty of space, a lovely pool and outdoor bathrooms, and the location worked perfectly for us. This has been my best stay in Bali so far. I’d pick this place for a family or a group of friends, and we’ll see you next time.

The one thing I’d change is the bathroom roof. It extends over the toilet but doesn’t cover the whole way, so you get wet on the way there when it rains. Everything else made for a lovely stay at Villa Belharra. The maid came daily, kept things clean and tidy, and was attentive. The owner was friendly and quick to respond, the beds were really comfortable, and the aircon worked well. After a day touring, the private pool was just the right temperature to cool off in. There’s a live music venue on the corner, under a two-minute walk away, and Amazing Breakfast at 3 coins is also about two minutes on foot. The beach takes around 15 minutes to walk to. I’d highly recommend it and would stay again on my next trip to Bali.
