The staff are kind, patient, and helpful, and there’s plenty of security. The pool is big, the gym is large enough, and there are lots of shops nearby, plus convenience stores inside. It’s well located in the city. If you rent here, test absolutely everything within the first 48 hours. After that, they won’t let you off the hook for repair charges if something goes wrong, even when it isn’t your fault.
I stayed here for six months, hoping it could be my base whenever I visited Jakarta. My apartment was basically empty because I was often mobilised, but there was still a rat infestation everywhere. Don’t assume it was down to the unit’s hygiene. Mine was spotless, yet rats could still gnaw their way through the walls and roof, ruining my furniture and books. The lobby even smells of rats. I raised it with staff and management. All they did was send “pest control”, who seemed no more than an intern, to put down traps and remove the rats each time one got caught. I love the location and environment, but this rat problem was the last straw, and I left the apartment for good. Management, please deal with this properly. Hire professional pest control and clean the roof spaces between floors and the water pipes. If you’re considering living here, just keep this in mind.
The pool stays clean, and there’s a playground that works well for kids. This has felt like a family-focused place from the start, so it may not suit someone after a short rental or a private romantic hideaway. The guards are firm about keeping things safe and stopping people from using shared facilities without permission. Behave respectfully and it’s a comfortable place to live. I’ve been here since the complex went up in 2007, first on my own and later with my family. It’s a cozy apartment complex in a central spot, utility bills are reasonable, and each unit gets parking for one car and one motorcycle.
Several of us have recently seen more stray cats being abandoned around the apartment, and it puts their safety and welfare at risk. Without care, they can face illness, hunger, or other dangers, while the situation also causes inconvenience for residents. I live in the Bougenville tower at Sudirman Park Apartment, and I want to protest this practice. It’s deeply concerning, unethical, and against the principles of animal protection.
Disappointed that only three people can enter the pool area. What are we supposed to do if we have three kids? Who’s meant to watch them, or take care of the other things, while we’re at the pool?
