The breakfast was very simple, but for the price the hotel was okay. Our superior room had plenty of space and sofa-style seating, and it should work for a family with up to two children. The walls were thin, though, so conversations outside and the housekeeper's trolley were easy to hear.

The staff were lovely and always checked in about how our day was going. Our room was spacious, though it could get really cold, and the color scheme wasn't quite to my taste. There was a big choice at the buffet, and with Kuta Beach and the main road's many restaurants so close, it felt like great value. I'd stay again.

Beach views and a great sunset spot are a real plus. Since it's inside Discovery mall, it's easy to shop or find somewhere to eat. Our family room was very spacious, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The amenities were good, and the service was welcoming.

Being right by Discovery Mall was why we booked, but the two-bedroom suite was a letdown. It hadn't been checked properly before check-in and wasn't clean. The toilet flush was broken, and we had to ask for basic things like teaspoons and a boiler. At checkout, a male staff member said there should have been four mugs, though we told him there were only two when we arrived. I wouldn't recommend it.

The pool is right beside the boardwalk, so the kids can swim safely while you have a drink and enjoy the view. The hotel is inside the mall and close to the beach, which makes the location ideal. Great value for money.
