Le Jardin Villas Seminyak

The rooms looked beautiful at first glance, with a nice homely feel, and the koi ponds at the villa entrances were lovely. The floors were hard, which I liked, and the AC worked well. The kids loved the pool and were happy to stay there. The food was delicious, too. The staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly, always smiling, and greeted you cheerfully whenever you came in, day or night. Service really was a highlight. Some maintenance in our villa had been neglected, though. A few pool tiles were loose, the wiring didn’t look professional, and parts of the spa came off and it didn’t work very well. We had a discounted villa, to be fair. It’s a short walk to the main drag, but the lane is sketchy and unlit, which can feel intimidating. The staff were happy to suggest a taxi or scooter. I walked alone and had no issues, but I’m a 6'2" man. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Very nice rooms, I’d give the place 7/10.

My friends and I had the best time here! The staff were all so kind and accommodating. The location is unreal, really close to the beach, markets, and heaps of nice restaurants. The pool is amazing too! 🥰

The service was impossible to fault. Staff were amazing and helped several times, including finding lost phones and assisting a family member who uses a wheelchair. The location is ideal for walking to the beach and lovely restaurants. We had a beautiful stay at Le Jardin Villas and are already planning another trip.

My friend and I were shocked by the condition of the villa we booked. The bins were overflowing with rubbish from previous guests, some lights didn’t work, and there was no TV in the room. Exposed electrical cables were hanging dangerously. The sheets were stained and dirty, with grains of sand in the bed. The master room mattress had a noticeable hole in the middle. Towels were dirty, very thin, and smelled unpleasant. When we asked for vegan milk, specifically almond milk, the receptionist told us to buy it ourselves outside and bring it back. That felt disappointing and unprofessional. We took photographs documenting all the issues. We checked out after the first night, despite having paid for several more. At checkout, the reception staff agreed with our decision, apologized, and said management would contact us about a refund. After we had left, management messaged to say they wouldn’t refund the unused nights, and offered another villa if we wanted to stay at the property instead. Though the staff had seemed apologetic when we complained, later they simply emailed to ask why we hadn’t stayed. This was deeply disappointing and concerning, and doesn’t reflect the spirit of this beautiful country. Do not book or stay here, even for free.
