There were cockroaches, and the hot water didn’t work. They gave us two Cleo glass bottles of mineral water.

We arrived around 2 am with my family, and the staff were kind, though no drinks were offered and we went straight to our rooms. We’d booked two rooms, but both were smelly and unhygienic, and we couldn’t sleep. In the other room, we found water on the floor, as if there were a leak. The staff found us another room, but none looked like what we’d expected from the booking photos. We asked for a refund, and the staff contacted agoda; the manager approved it and it was all sorted out nicely. The staff were lovely, but the bed linen wasn’t clean and we couldn’t even use the bathroom. We ended up without sleep and looked for another hotel, leaving at 09am. I later found out the hotel is registered under Bali hygiene protocol...

The location worked well, with little traffic but easy access to the city’s best spots. The rooms felt worth the price, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good spread, with a different protein each day plus eggs and toast cooked fresh. It gets busy, so going around 7am or 9am might be better. The water didn’t get as hot as I’d like, though I was too lazy to mention it. Had a great stay.

I ended up here unexpectedly after moving from Jakarta, when my boarding house lost electricity for five hours. I needed somewhere to charge my devices, shower, and get online. They had a room available even though I arrived almost at midnight, which was helpful. The room is basic and seems suited to a stopover or urgent stay. There was no hairdryer or kettle, just two bottles of mineral water, and the WiFi was average but on the slow side. Breakfast was ordinary and too salty, especially the fried rice and eggs. The bread, coffee, and iced sweet tea also tasted odd, almost stale. Service was still okay and friendly. Thanks for welcoming me!
