Mayang Private Villas

We were a family of five with three kids, plus three friends. After two weeks, we were heartbroken to leave. The house felt like home from the moment we walked in, and it’s huge, much better looking than the pictures. If you want somewhere modern and new, this may not be for you. But if you like traditional Balinese style and a house with a soul, look no further. Everything you might need is a short walk from the villa, yet it’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful. This holiday will stay in our hearts forever. It was the most fantastic holiday for all of us. Thanks again to Candra for making this experience possible. The hospitality was amazing, and we appreciated all the recommendations and care. We felt like part of the family. Wayan was so helpful and always smiling, thank you for all the help. We’ll recommend this villa to family and friends and will come back ourselves.

We spent three weeks here in February 2025 with our four kids, and the central Seminyak location gave us a great base. The pool and outdoor spaces were a big hit with everyone. Pak Tuta, who manages the property, was easy to reach whenever we had questions, and even arranged for pastries to be delivered. Mayan kept the place clean while giving us plenty of space.

The location was fantastic, and the owner knew a driver who took all of us to Ubud for a day trip. We stayed in November and found the villa beautiful, with an enormous pool. It could use some updating and maintenance, though.

The cabana beside the pool was amazing, and there was loads of room. This was the best villa I’ve stayed in, out of more than a dozen. The beds were a little hard on my back, though.
