Mesari Beach Inn

Absolutely awful, nothing like the photos. The bathroom was filthy and damp, and the bedding looked as if there were secretions on the pillows. I didn't feel safe either, with the place down a dusty track and no safety deposit box. Just filthy. We left and found somewhere else.

It's quiet and clean, with a nice bed, air conditioning and a water heater. They provide a clean towel, soap, shampoo and water. The price is pretty cheap for this range, the staff are friendly, and the beach is very close, though the property doesn't face it.

I got a booking request for a drop off to ubud from mesari beach in. The route to the hotel is lovely, with stables and horses welcoming you, and the staff are really friendly. It's close to the beach, just about a minute's walk, perhaps less. For a budget stay in seminyak town near the beach, this hotel could be an option. Breakfast was only 50 k idr, an affordable price for a huge morning meal as of 17 august 2015, our independent day, though rates may change by season. As a driver and tour guide in seminyak, I'd vote mesari beach in the best budget hotel in seminyak for low-priced rooms close to the beach.

The owners keep a monkey in a small, dirty cage and won't hand it over to animal rescue groups or improve its living conditions. Don't support this business, they abuse animals.
