The room was a decent size, but the rest was a disaster. It looked run-down, like the furniture, with peeling plaster and black mold inside. There was a lot of mold on the wall by the bed. Someone had tried to hide it behind the bed and a filthy, rotten sofa, but it hadn’t worked. The bathroom was even worse, and the outdoor “kitchen,” which wasn’t really a kitchen, was just as dirty and disgusting. The pool looked “clean,” but the area around it was very neglected. I only looked at a room here, which was supposed to cost 4,500,000 IDR. It’s definitely not worth that. Serious investment and renovations are needed, a fresh coat of paint won’t cut it. I give the place 2 out of 10. This is a health hazard and a complete rip-off. No-go area. P.s. Close from the Mosque.
All good and very strategic. There’s a Circle K next door that’s open 24 hours, and a gas station nearby.
I booked this as a backup room for four nights, mainly to leave my bags and take a quick nap near where I was working in Bali. I was glad I didn’t stay any longer. Calling it a hotel feels wrong, it’s a very basic lodge, and the cheap price tells you what to expect. There was no hospitality. The three guys at reception were as bad as you could expect from Bali, but please don’t judge the whole island by them. The room wasn’t cleaned during my booking, even though my booking terms said it should be cleaned daily and drinking water and snacks replenished. The bed smelled bad, and the pillows and blanket weren’t fresh from day one. I don’t want to imagine what happened before I touched them. The air conditioner barely blew air and made noise. The one thing that did work was the hot water, which I was thankful for. I’ve rarely found hot water in the budget places I’ve tried in Bali. Hope this helps others decide what they want from a budget room.
Good value for the money, with a swimming pool and a location in Kuta about 10 minutes by motorbike from Kuta Beach. But the place needs better upkeep. We ran into cockroaches, doors that wouldn’t close properly, a leaking sink, and an air conditioner that didn’t work well. I hope management puts more effort in going forward.
Fairly cheap, but disgustingly dirty and badly run. There’s a central kitchen everyone can share and a good-sized swimming pool. The reception is actually a laundromat.
