Origin Seminyak

We had a delicious BBQ prepared right in the villa, and the team helped us with so many plans before the trip over WhatsApp. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. We booked the three-bedroom pool villa for eight adults to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. The villa was beautiful, the rooms were great, and the pool worked perfectly for us. It was well maintained and cleaned daily, and they promptly refilled the water dispenser. The one issue was the tap water. It tasted salty and didn't seem clean, and even washing our hands or cups with it didn't feel clean. We don't know if the flooding just a few days before our arrival caused it. We'll definitely return to Origin and recommend it to others.

The location was so convenient. The market and Seminyak square were within walking distance, and Circle k was a two-minute walk away. After a day of shopping, the pool was perfect. We stayed five nights in the three-bedroom villa. The staff were so friendly, brought breakfast every morning, and set up mosquito spray at night. I tried booking for next year, but it was already booked out. Highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and nice, though their very casual clothes and lack of uniforms felt less professional than you'd expect from a hotel or concierge service. I booked the Studio villa for three nights, from Dec 30 to Jan 2, 2026, but left after just one night and moved elsewhere. The listing photos didn't match what we found. The villa seemed to be under maintenance and was dirty. There were stains all over the bathroom, the bathtub didn't work, and the washbasin water splashed everywhere because the drainage wasn't right. The terrace was dirty and moldy, the walls were dirty, and the whole place felt poorly kept. The TV was there, but there were no channels available. We didn't feel comfortable staying, and it wasn't worth the price. I felt misled by the difference between the advertised and actual condition. I'm sharing photos so future guests can see the villa's real state and decide for themselves. The hotel mentioned a refund in its response, but I emailed them and messaged through the booking.com app and still haven't heard back.

We spent two weeks in Villa No.5 and had a lovely time. The villa was fantastic, with a big, comfortable king-size bed, a large bathroom, and a divine pool. Staff were very friendly and ready to help. It's close to the heart of Seminyak Village and only five minutes from Petitenget Beach. 10/10, highly recommend!
