The location worked really well, with a five-minute walk to the beach and plenty of spas, restaurants, and shops nearby. There's also a chemist close by, and we used a great, cheap local laundry service across from the hotel. We loved the food, with a good mix of local and Western dishes and a great pizza menu. Staff were all fantastic, friendly, and professional. Our clean, nicely sized room was poolside, which was handy, and the pool itself is lovely with a bar. It's a gorgeous little hotel, super clean and pleasing to look at. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

The staff were the cherry on top, so friendly and accommodating. Febri in the restaurant was especially kind and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. The Mahata was kept spotless, and we loved how comfortable the bed and pillows were. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Everyone worked so well as a team that I can't single out any one staff member. They took care of everything, even providing gluten-free bread. I had a wonderful, relaxing time on my first trip to Bali, and I'll recommend staying here to everyone I know. I'd definitely come back.

I spent a week here with my husband and we had a really great time. The food at The Mahata was brilliant, and the facilities and location were good too. Every staff member was super friendly and cared about the guests. Thanks to Prames, Ferli, Febli, Nisa, and all the staff. If I come to Kuta again, I'll definitely stay at The Mahata. Such a happy place to stay in Kuta ♥︎

The best part of The Mahata is the service. Everyone on the team is friendly and takes a genuine interest in guests. Thank you Ari, Ibun, Febri, Angga, and the whole team for making Bali feel like home. We've stayed twice, and the second time we added four more nights because we liked it so much. The value is great, with everything needed for a comfortable stay and no costly extras. Rooms are spacious, the bed is SO comfortable, and the pool is just a few steps away. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, and delicious little coconut biscuits, and pay attention to guests' needs, including celebrating special occasions. The Mahata is tucked down an alley near garlic lane, close to shops and restaurants but away from the nearby bar noise when it's time to sleep. We look forward to coming back.
