Villa Alore

The villa was fantastic, clean and tidy. Breakfast was well organised, with clear communication about the timing, and our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. I’d definitely book here again. The arrangements before we arrived were smooth too. Even with the six-hour time difference, the email service was helpful and they kept in touch. We could pay in instalments using our Dutch bank account. A week before departure, they checked in about our trip and followed our itinerary carefully. The whole team made the trip easy, from booking and airport transfers to our driver, butlers, cleaners and security. Everyone was happy to help, nothing felt like too much trouble, and we were well looked after the entire time. Breakfasts were fantastic every day, too. We booked both Alore Villas for six singles in Feb 25. The adjoining wall opens fully, so together they make a huge complex with double facilities, including two pools, kitchens and lounge rooms. There are six enormous bedrooms with a bathroom each. The villas could easily fit 12, or be split into two separate 3 bedroom villas. Beds were super comfortable and the air con was great, so we slept well. They’re beautiful, well maintained villas with everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like mozzie spray and coils, shampoo and hand sanitizers. Shopping, the beach, bars and restaurants are 5-10 minutes away in either direction. Great value, and a real oasis after a busy day, or just for chilling out. Strongly recommend, and we’d stay again. Just a short walk from one of Bali’s most beautiful beaches, and the location is fantastic. The villa has two lovely pools and its own BBQ area. A really nice choice for a big family or a group of friends.

The laundry service was excellent, at 10k/kg. It smelled lovely, and the whites came back whiter than before. That matters a lot to me since I’m travelling for a year and other places have mixed our whites with colours. One odd thing at checkout: guests are charged 170k to have the linen washed. Otherwise, it was a very positive stay. The villa was spotless, with a lovely setting and layout, super comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The staff were professional and friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
