A storm caused a short power cut, and Ari kept in touch late into the night while coordinating with the power company. The next morning, Ari and Dharma brought flashlights so we’d be all right. When I had an accident while out and ended up in hospital, they visited to check on me and even offered food to my husband. Their thoughtfulness was truly touching. They were also flexible about breakfast and cleaning times, always accommodating us with a smile. The breakfasts were delicious, with Western and Indonesian dishes, and the Indonesian food was outstanding. Each morning there was fresh fruit, freshly squeezed watermelon juice, coconut juice, and Indonesian bananas. The property itself is spacious and well kept, with five bedrooms and five enclosed bathrooms supplied with amenities. The living room is large and welcoming. The pool was sparkling clean, a good size, with loungers placed in the sun. If you need an iron, just ask the staff. They also arranged two airport pickups and one drop-off. The drivers were responsive and the cars clean. Villa Christie is a gem, and Ari and Dharma are a big part of what makes it special. Restaurants across the street and next door are handy when you don’t want to go far for dinner. Nakula is a responsive agency on WhatsApp, with well-maintained villas and a range of options.
