I want to warn people about staying at this villa. I booked in advance for August during high season and had agreed everything with the host, but they cancelled four days before I was due to arrive, saying they’d decided to renovate. How can they do that after taking a booking? It was really hard to find somewhere else to stay at that time of year, and they didn’t offer another option. They simply cancelled. Please keep in mind that this is how they treat their guests. It was dishonest.

We had to cancel our trip and gave the owner five months’ notice, but they wouldn’t refund our deposit.

The massive pool was a highlight, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed for cooking, plus a gas BBQ in the alfresco area. The villa was very clean and comfortable, with cold air conditioning. The new gym was great, too. Staff were cheerful and helpful. It’s close to amenities but tucked away from the outside, so it stays peaceful and quiet.

SCAM! Don’t book here! They show you this property, then once the booking is done, tell you it’s already booked and send you to some garbage place. They won’t refund you either. NEVER BOOK. This is what they sent me at the end: “Please go get a Coffee and don’t hang around the villas as they are all privately owned”

Green mango was a fabulous place to stay, clean, roomy and comfortable, with a very professional owner. It’s centrally located near shops, the beach, and restaurants, and I’d recommend it for all ages. Thanks to Chris and the team. Lesley, Lindi, Libby and Rae from nz
