Villa Nala

Really nice villa and good service. It’s changed my mind about where to stay next time I visit Bali, I’d choose a private villa over a hotel now.

Just so-so.

The villa staff were lovely, helpful and happy to accommodate. The pool is spacious and surrounded by greenery, and the rooms are adequate. I especially liked the bathroom floors with their tiles and pebbles. The terrace and kitchen look luxurious, with a beautiful table, and the kitchen has decent equipment. The villa’s entrance can be dangerous, though, particularly in the dark when the power goes out and you have to switch on the main circuit breaker outside. That happened four times. The road to the villa isn’t very nice and has garbage along it, although there is street security.

The staff were really friendly, and when we had a late flight and nowhere to leave our luggage, they let us store it in the room next door and pick it up whenever we wanted. I’d definitely come back, I was completely satisfied. The villa is a great choice for a family trip, with a spacious living room and pool that impressed me as soon as I arrived. Its interior blends beautifully with the landscaping, and the pool is larger than at other villas I’ve seen and well cared for. We swam every day. The room was clean and the bathroom spacious. Large vehicles can get in and out easily on the wide road in front. It’s a bit of a walk to the city center, but it’s a pleasant one.
