That huge balcony and its amazing view were a real plus, and I enjoyed the food. My husband wasn’t as happy with his meal. The location is stunning, the pool was very clean, breakfast excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful. But we were disappointed with our upstairs room, RA. An internal staircase connected it to the room below, so sound carried throughout and we could hear everything. It didn’t feel private at all.

The pool’s infinity edge looks out over the valley, and the property itself is beautiful. The local owners have a welcoming place, with relaxed, friendly staff. There are rooms for different budgets, and the price I was quoted on arrival was quite reasonable. The restaurant food is very tasty, and you ring the bamboo gong five times to order. Beer is reasonably priced too. The internet was the letdown: you have to log in each time, and finding a signal is hard. That Iron Age internet costs it a star.

The mountain and rice field views are stunning, and the restaurant serves fresh, tasty food. Breakfast was better than I expected. Really nice hotel, with amazing, thoughtfully designed rooms. All that wooden furniture gives them a special feel :)

It's a peaceful spot among the rice fields, with lovely walks through them nearby. The reception staff were very friendly. I dropped my customer here from Seminyak, about a 1 hour 30 minute drive away. You’ll need your own transport, like a scooter, or to hire a car to get around.
