The pool was spotless, with no algae or bugs and no strong chlorine smell. My room was fine too. I was put downstairs because the upstairs rooms were full, which gave me plenty of privacy, though getting to the pool meant tackling some steep stairs. Breakfast was tasty, with a few mains to choose from, like nasi goreng, mie goreng, pancakes or eggs, plus your choice of juice and coffee or tea. The bathroom took a few minutes to get hot water, and the two hot and cold knobs took some figuring out. Sometimes the water got scalding hot. They provided a comb, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer tucked on the shelves. It’s easy enough to find the location, but entering the guesthouse feels a little like sneaking into someone’s home. You go inside, then follow a narrow walkway to reception. For the price, it’s a really, really good place to stay.

The rooms were neat and tidy, and I was comfortable during my stay. The food was good, and staff support was available around the clock. There’s no lift, but the helpful service made up for that. The rooms themselves are just okay, though that may be fair for the budget. There’s no intercom to reach reception, and the location is a bit out of the way.

The staff made me feel welcome, and I enjoyed staying here. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. It also felt like good value and a safe place to keep my valuables.

It’s pleasantly quiet since the property sits a little back from the main road, yet you can walk to nearby restaurants and shops. I also really liked the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is still in good condition, though it could use an update eventually. Breakfast was tasty, with American, continental and local choices. I’d definitely recommend staying here ☺️

We stayed here twice, and my friends booked a room too and enjoyed it. The rooms are dated, but comfortable, and the WiFi was reliable. I loved the relaxing pool, and the staff were friendly and caring. It’s within walking distance of Yoga Barn and good restaurants. Keep in mind you’re in the jungle: don’t bring food into your room, or the ants will be intense :) One handy thing if you’re arriving with luggage: set your drop-off point to "flock bali", the alley directly across from Flock, about 80m away. Otherwise you may be dropped on the road and have to ask locals to help you find the place through alleys about 600m away. Solid value, and I’d highly recommend it.
