The room looked much like the photos at first, but up close it felt dirty and unattended. Construction nearby brought daytime noise, and there didn't seem to be any staff or other guests around. We felt like the only ones at the homestay. We had booked five nights but left after the first. There was no front desk or anyone to speak with, and my messages never got a reply. A random person helped us find the room, whose keys were just hanging on the door. It was tucked behind several buildings and hard to locate, especially along the unlit footpath. The whole stay was uncomfortable and disappointing.

The place is far at the back, past several demolished buildings and a heavy construction site. It was pitch dark at night, and the route felt hazardous. I wouldn't recommend it for families, people with mobility issues, or disabled guests, as someone could easily get hurt if they weren't careful. I cancelled my reservation and feel like I dodged a bullet. The owner was very rude and never replied on WhatsApp, and whoever manages the messages ignored them for days. That felt completely unprofessional and not how guests should be treated.

Our room was nice for the price, with an awesome balcony view over a strip of jungle. The compound has a lot of construction going on, though it didn't bother us. The stairs up to the rooms have no railings, which could be an issue for some. See attached video.

It was peaceful and relaxing here, and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was really yummy, with a little change each day so you don't keep eating the same thing. My wife and I liked the spacious room and bathroom. The one drawback was low water pressure in the shower.

This was our second stay, and somehow even better than the first. Bagus and the staff were really kind and even helped with my luggage. The rooms are new, modern and clean, with everything we needed. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was so delicious.
