Bulan Bali Homestay

We stayed for a week and loved the place, especially the perfect location if you're coming for The Yoga Barn. The hosts were super lovely, and the room was cleaned every day. They were very, very attentive to the details.

The location worked well for me since I was going to Yoga Barn, which is close by. It feels like a family-run hotel, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was good, and I felt I got my money's worth.

A lovely, fairly quiet homestay. The rooms are set on two levels behind the family compound, and the bed is big. The air conditioning worked great, and the hot water was excellent.

Desy made my four days in Ubud easy and welcoming. Breakfast was ready at 8 every morning, and I always came back to a clean, tidy room. She took care of cleaning and maintenance once a day. Thanks, Desy! The homestay is about a four-minute walk from Yoga Barn, and you can cut through its other exit to reach central Ubud, which made getting to morning yoga convenient. If you arrive late, double-check that you're heading to “Bulan Bali Homestay,” not “Bulan Bali Hostel.” It can be hard to find in the dark, and (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps may not pin the exact spot. The area is a little rural, so expect mosquitoes, stray dogs and cats, cockroaches, and ants. Roosters may wake you around 6 or 7 in the morning.
