The main problem for me was the Wi-Fi. There was barely any across the property, with none in my room or other areas on the second floor. They had an extender, but it wasn't working properly. The pool and general look of the place didn't match the photos. It seemed like proper maintenance had been missed for several years. On the plus side, my room was nice and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We used this place as a little NYE escape to keep the fireworks smoke away from our baby. The stay was nice overall. Breakfast was simple but tasty, the room was clean, and the AC worked well, though the bed was a bit hard. Staff were friendly, and there are plenty of good restaurants around. Getting there is a bit challenging since it's far from the main road and you can only reach it on foot or by single bike. The garden could use some care to look nicer and cleaner. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you aren't expecting too much from your staycation.

The one thing that went well was the staff, who were friendly and helped us with our bags. The rest was a shock, even though we hadn’t expected much for the price. Getting there meant walking about five minutes from the main road with luggage along a very narrow, stressful path. The pool area looked nothing like the photos, and the surroundings in front of it were poor. Our room was very basic, with yellowed curtains. We immediately found another hotel and checked out without spending the night.

The owners are really nice, and this is a cozy place for a low price that feels worth it. Rooms are roomy and clean, and the pool has a lovely view where you can watch the sun go down between the palms. It can be a little hard to spot after dark, but there are plenty of signs to guide you. I’d recommend it.
