Dewi Ayu Accommodation

Staying here with my friends was a real pleasure. The place was peaceful, the rooms impeccably clean, and we felt very comfortable. I have no complaints about it, and the location worked perfectly for all the things we wanted to do in Ubud.

Bali feels like home to me, and Dewi Ayu does too. I arrived three weeks ago and knew right away I wanted to stay here longer. My bungalow room is bright and clean, and the garden is beautiful and carefully looked after. Breakfast is more than enough for me, with fruit, banana pancake, egg, and tea or coffee. The owner is such a sweet, caring person, spending the day working in the garden or cleaning rooms and treating guests with respect. I’m grateful to have found somewhere I can enjoy slow travel. If Ubud is Bali’s heart, Dewi Ayu Accomodation is the heart of Ubud. P.s: monkeys come by during breakfast every morning, so I have to keep an eye on my food. They’re really sneaky :)

We had a quiet stay in a lush, pretty guesthouse, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Our second-floor room was near the pool and had a small, very private balcony. The pool was clean and large enough to swim in, a real plus in Ubud’s heat. The location is convenient: Monkey Forest is 5-7 minutes away on foot, the main road with the market is about 10-15 minutes, and big Coco supermarket is 15 minutes. Breakfast was basic but decent, with tea or coffee, eggs, pancakes, and a small serving of fruit. You can buy water and cold drinks at the guesthouse. A few things could be better: the air conditioning didn’t cool enough, there was no teapot, and the facilities felt worn and due for renovation. The pebble shower floor looked nice, but was hard to use without flip-flops. Only a Honda Scoopy was available to rent while we were there, so more scooter choices would be great. There’s no shared kitchen or refrigerator, and the Wi-Fi could improve, since only YouTube worked well.

My stay here was a personal 10/10. The rooms are near the forest, so the surroundings are quiet and natural, and I slept well with the air conditioning working. The pool was refreshing, and free cold water was available by the entrance any time. Breakfast was delicious, especially the banana japle 😋😋. The staff were more than amazing, always smiling and lovely to be around.
