The rice field setting is lovely and calm, yet still very central. A couple of things need attention, though: there should be hooks or another place to dry towels, and the toilet seats looked very worn and out of place with the rest of the property. Getting there depends on staff pickup, so they need to be responsive. I had shared my arrival time and messaged again from the pickup point, but got no reply for two hours. That felt like extremely poor treatment, and they should improve it.

A good spot if you want to be surrounded by nature and put your phone away. The Wi-Fi isn't very reliable, which makes sense out among the rice fields, but the rooms could use some maintenance and touch-ups.

We had a really memorable stay, and Denik gave us some of our best experiences at Masia. Through him, we saw and learned a lot about local culture. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the excursions cost less than GetYourGuide, with options to customize them. Since Masia Villas can only be reached by scooter, their 24/7 motorbike rides were useful and worked well. Walking is also easy. After dark, take a headlamp and stay on the road as long as possible before turning toward the rice fields. There was some nighttime noise because of the surrounding fields, though we only encountered a few mosquitoes. The rooms could have been cleaner. Still, we had a great experience and I can highly recommend the accommodation.

A peaceful place to relax, away from downtown noise, with really friendly staff and fair prices. Just know that being in the rice plantation means cars can't get there. They do have a free bike ride service available 24/7.

The rice fields give the place a quiet feel, and the apartments are spacious and modern. Our room was clean and well kept, with a lovely covered outdoor shower and bathtub. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. They can take you by scooter to Ubud Central Parking, which is an easy place to arrange a pickup. Laundry is available too, and there's a nice dinner menu with pleasant seating.
