Good hotel.

The garden was lovely and kept in good shape, and the rooms were cleaned neatly. Breakfast was generous too, one of the better ones we had on the trip. We also got to use the private villa pool, which is why we stayed several nights. The place itself is nice, and the rooms are pleasant, but upkeep is lacking. The wall in our room had a crack and peeling paint, with patch repairs that were easy to see. The pool area looked neglected, with just two run-down loungers. The room safe wasn’t fixed in place, so it could be carried off. There was no terrace seating either, so we had to get some ourselves. It felt like a nice property being let down by slow staff, which seems to happen often in Indonesia.

There’s no Indomaret.
