We booked at the last minute, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable, the location makes it easy to walk around town, and there’s free water for refilling bottles. Breakfast was basic but decent. Weekdays can be noisy from the nearby school, and the restaurant/bar next door has live music every night until around 10pm. It could disturb sleep, though we didn’t mind much. The pillows are brown and lumpy, the bed only has a sheet and no blanket, and the bathroom could use a deep clean.

The staff were very nice, and for the price the stay wasn’t bad. Still, cleanliness could be better. The towels had a strong chemical smell, and the bed linen looked old, dirty and stained. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so it smelled really mouldy. I also found quite a lot of ants in the room. I later learned that ants are fairly common in Ubud, but it still points to hygiene that could be improved.

I meant to stay two or three days and ended up staying two weeks. The manager, Widya, and her staff are friendly and professional, and made it feel like home. The garden views are lovely, with birds singing and fish jumping in their small poll💕. Even though it’s right in the centre, the rooms are spacious and the area is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it. I believe you won’t regret staying here.

Think twice before booking here. The owner agreed to everything while I was booking, but after receiving the money her behaviour changed. She wouldn’t listen, was often unavailable at the hotel, and stopped answering when I tried calling again. This was the worst customer service I experienced during my 25-day trip in Indonesia.
