The room was clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom, and the place is just around the corner from the Greenway. It was a very strategic stop for me while cycling from Mullingar, and access was easy. Jim is a very direct host. I also got a wonderful scone, which I hadn't expected.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the helpful staff made the stay pleasant. It's a charming, friendly place, and I really liked the old-style furnishings, which added to its cozy feel. One small hassle was sorting out meals since there's no breakfast and no fridge in the rooms. The host was accommodating, though, and let me keep my things in their fridge, which helped a lot.

Jim and Nancy were welcoming and helpful, suggesting breakfast spots that suited our needs and giving us tips on getting around and parking in Athlone. The rooms were spacious, clean, practical, and had very comfortable beds. It's a lovely find, close to the town centre but in a peaceful location.

Athlone is a lovely place to visit, and this was such a welcoming spot to stay. The staff were friendly and happy to help, the location was great, and it felt well worth the price. I’ll definitely be back.

They made us feel very welcome. The host was so accommodating, and the room was lovely, with some really nice complimentary biscuits. Breakfast wasn’t part of our booking, but they still gave us coffee in the morning.
