Teach na Coille B&B

There’s plenty of parking in the private driveway, and the area is beautiful with everything only a few minutes away by car. The owners make you feel right at home. My room was perfect, with a cozy bed, TV, and clean bathroom. They also have a kettle, toaster, and fridge available, so you can make tea, which is great on a cold evening. Definitely staying again. A++++

The owners were lovely, and I enjoyed the breakfast. My room was a good size, but it needed fresh paint and replacement furniture, and the bathroom needed repairs, including the tiles and paintwork. There wasn’t a mirror in the room, only in the bathroom, so I couldn’t get ready properly before leaving. There was one on the landing, though.

The host was a lovely lady, and the location is convenient for both Midleton and Cork, with superb views. The rooms were very basic, and the paintwork didn’t have a great finish. It was cold, and a noisy machine ran at night and early in the morning.

The walls were paper thin, and the shower started filling up after about 30 seconds. The heating wasn’t turned on. On arrival, the owner was unbelievably ignorant and seemed interested only in getting the money. I even had to ask which room I was staying in.
