Sligo Park Hotel & Leisure Club

The staff made us feel right at home, and the kids were treated to Easter eggs from Ann. Jay at the pool was brilliant with them too. On arrival, my three and two year old got Easter goodie bags with chocolate and colouring activities. They also had movies every night and a float in the swimming pool. Mammy Johnsons ice cream stand popped up every day during our Easter break, which was a lovely extra. Breakfast was gorgeous, and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. They’ve thought of so many little things, and all these extras were free, which we really appreciated. Strandhill is only a 10 minute drive away, so the location’s perfect for a beach trip. We’ll be back 💯

It’s out of town, though buses and taxis make it easy to get to the city centre. The rooms were very good and had all the essentials, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the big bar, which was great for food and relaxing, so didn’t try the lovely restaurant. There’s also a good fitness centre, pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. Great food and a relaxing break. We’ll return.

We spent four nights in a superior room, with a super king sized bed, a shower that had both a fixed and movable head, and lovely Voya products. It was spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were great. A special mention to Arthur and the accommodation staff. The hotel has spacious grounds and feels peaceful and almost countryside-like, even though Sligo Town is just five minutes away. I’d recommend it to anyone touring Sligo/Leitrim and the North West who wants a bit of luxury.

Had a lovely lunch and the menu was excellent. The staff were pleasant and efficient, though the team seemed overwhelmed. A few more people on the floor and at the counter would help, but that wasn’t the staff’s fault.
