The Manor West Hotel & Leisure Club

We chose a suite for the extra room, and it was huge: a hall, master bedroom, fridge, balcony, and a jacuzzi bath, plus a double and single bed at the other end. The kids and we had a great time in the hotel pool, and the place is very family friendly. The staff were amazing, and I couldn’t fault them. Food was unreal, really tasty, with a few gluten-free options my husband loved. The hotel’s also in a handy spot, with Manor West retail park just behind it. Smyths, Tesco, Woodies and other shops are all within walking distance. We’d recommend it to any family visiting Kerry. Honestly, one million percent.

Breakfast was a real plus, with a surprisingly broad choice of vegetarian options. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Manor West Hotel to families. We were there for one night with our three children. The hotel is lovely and sits right beside major shops, and our room was spacious and very clean. The kids were thrilled with their bunk beds, and the welcome packs with coloring sheets were a nice touch. We used the pool too. It was clean and well kept, though the water felt a little cold for younger children.

I’m vegan and follow a specific diet, so I asked the waitress if I could order from the kids menu. She looked at me disapprovingly and wouldn’t let me. I found the service unpleasant and judgmental, and the refusal felt rude and unprofessional. Customers should be able to choose what they eat, especially for dietary reasons. With the hotel’s good reputation, I was disappointed to see staff behave this way. I strongly recommend better customer service and staff training.

We were in the area for a wedding, and the room was lovely and spacious. The staff were brilliant, and lunch and breakfast were both very nice. The play den was great too. A public thank you to the reception team and the maintenance worker who came in on his day off to retrieve the piece of jewellery I’d dropped down the sink. Such great service 👏
