The breakfast room had a relaxed, friendly feel. The host was welcoming, and guests were happy to share stories about the island, which gave it an authentic Manx feel. It’s also great value for money, right in the middle of central Douglas. The decor is pretty old throughout, and the roof leaked now and then. The shower room could use some work too: the lighting is dim, and you have to pull a cord to turn on the water, which isn’t very convenient.

The rooms are dated but clean and have everything you might need. Breakfast was a good continental spread, and the price was very reasonable. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks.

We found this a welcoming place and a good base for the Noble parkrun. Prices vary by date, and booking direct may make a difference. Our stay ran from Thursday 17/07/25 to Sunday 20/07/25, flying with easyJet. Our room was ready at 08:00 instead of 15:00, and check-in was self-service. There was a welcome pack with a big bag of tea, milk and a biscuit, which was especially welcome after our very early flight. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked okay, and the TV was fine. The continental breakfast was plentiful, with coffee and tea available on request. Rudy was very helpful. It’s close to amenities, with Tesco Express 0.2 km away, and an easy walk to Noble Park, the promenade and other places. Just remember it’s a house with lots of stairs. There’s plenty to see and do, and we were lucky to have a friend of a friend show us the island and more. I recommend it if you’re coming for Noble parkrun.

The location was convenient: about five minutes on foot to the promenade, ten to the TT Grandstand, and close to Douglas town centre. Patrick, the owner, introduced himself when I came down for breakfast on my first morning and was very friendly. My room was clean, apart from a cobweb near one of the lamps, though I think it could do with a makeover. There was both a kitchen bin in the room and a small bin in the bathroom. Breakfast is continental and self-serve.

Megan and Patrick were great hosts at this relaxing, low-cost B&B. Since breakfast was continental, I could have it whenever I wanted, helping myself to toast, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice. There was also a microwave if you wanted to heat something you’d bought. I’ll definitely come back.
